Privacy Policy

Account information. When you register, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide (first name, last name, location, target role).

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with Rhoam — pages visited, jobs saved, application statuses updated, and features used. This helps us improve the product.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number or full payment details. We receive a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.

AI-generated content. When you use Interview Prep, the job title, company name, and job description are sent to Anthropic's API (Claude) to generate your prep guide. This content is not stored by Anthropic beyond the immediate request.

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Rhoam service
• Authenticate your account and manage your subscription
• Generate personalized interview prep guides
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• Improve job curation and recommendations
• Detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Your data is stored in Supabase, a cloud database provider with enterprise-grade security, encryption at rest, and SOC 2 compliance. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with secure session management.

We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Access to your personal data is restricted to authenticated requests tied to your account.

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no online service is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information will be removed within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.

Job listings in our database are pruned automatically after 45 days of inactivity.

Rhoam uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)
• Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI interview prep generation (anthropic.com/privacy)
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)

Rhoam uses cookies and browser local storage only for authentication session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics services.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information in your profile
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your application tracker data

Rhoam is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top and post a note in the app changelog. Continued use of Rhoam after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
